I. UV concept
  UV is abbreviation of Ultra-Violet Ray. UV light spectrum range is 200nm-450nm and dived in to following ranges according to band:
UV A:320-390nm
     UV B:280-320nm
     UV C:below 280nm
     UV V:above 390nm

II. UV curing
  UV curing is called as UV Curing or UV Coating, which is photochemical reaction, i.e., liquid UV irradiation can harden materials to print and part surface through printing or coating and realize curing. UV coating is similar to traditional drying, but with different principles: traditional drying is curing by solvent volatilization of coating materials, while there is no solvent volatilization in UV curing cross-linking.

III. UV lamp
  UV lamp is gas discharging lamp, including arc discharging and glow discharging. and glow discharging lamp is often used in UV curing, whose working principle is: fill high-purity mercury (mercury) in vacuum silica tube, provide voltage difference (voltage drop) on two pole ends to produce ionic discharging, and cause UV radiation.

VI. Intensity of UV lamp
Intensity of UV lamp depends on power density of UV lamp, with general specifications as follows:
     80W /cm i.e., 200W/inch
     120W /cm i.e., 300W/inch
     160W /cm i.e., 400W/inch
     240W /cm i.e., 600W/inch

V. Selection of UV strip Lamp
  First select needed power density and curing width with following calculation:
Auxiliary UV lamp power(w)=power(w/cm)*curing width(cm)

VI. Selection of UV parts
  Following factors should be guaranteed to ensure normal working of UV lamp: A. select matching lamp power, matching leakage transformer/capacitor should conform to voltage/current of UV lamp, rated power/secondary voltage/working current/insulating coefficient/withstand voltage of leakage transformer and capacity/withstand voltage/charging and discharging frequency directly determine luminous efficiency/stability and life of UV strip lamp; B. adapter fan should conform to power of UV lamp: exhausting capacity=150cubic meters/hour, KW*UV lamp power(KW). Note: do not cool the amp surface with high wind, or else, lamp will be turned off with arc blow-out by low temperature of strip lamp. C. Select proper indirect shades: generally, there are prefocus lamp shades and collimating lamp shades specific to UV lamp on the market.
